Property was clean. Staff was so lovely. Asked if special occasion and sent some drinks up. Overall great location and convenient. On the downside - noisy location also and difficult to get rooftop seating. It is not a bar rooftop. Flew into O’Hare and took subway and from there walked to hotel w one carry on suitcase.

Stayed here 3 nights. Overall location is great, located in quiet part of downtown. Pros: 2 Glass water carafes in room - can be refilled at water station hot/ cold options Walkable distance - to state street and michigan ave shops. Views: nightime views of riverwalk and outdoor sittings areas well designed and safe Less crowds - tucked away from touristy spots but close access to highway Parking - self park 65$/day in and out priveliges concierge by text - asked for replenisment towels and were delivered withing 10 mins. - great! Modern spacious room w river view for less than 400/ day great deal Cons: Beds are not firm - not good if you like firm mattress and have back concerns Hotel is large - walk-in from entrance to room requires changing 2 elevators and long walk to room if you get a corner room. Challening if you have walking injury or other ambulatory issues. Long wait at checkin - hotel is not fully staffed to manage large incoming guests. ie, convention traffic by nearby merchandise mart. Mixed guest profile: Families w kids / young party goers / professional convention attendees / vacation couples
